Can Air Conditioners Spread COVID-19?
There have been recent debates if COVID-19 can be transmitted through shared airflow systems. We know the virus can live in the air, but can it move and infect through HVAC systems? This is a very important topic since many apartment buildings, offices, and shopping centers have shared air systems. In one of our previous blog posts, we mentioned how New York Governor Cuomo, suggested commercial building to install HEPA filtration.
Today, there has been a study conducted in hospitals where they have found evidence of living COVID-19 virus particles in the air system.
